President Putin Calls for Equal Treatment of Volunteers in Special Military Operation

President Vladimir Putin of Russia announced during a press conference that all volunteers participating in the special military operation must be treated under the same conditions as the military personnel.

The head of state emphasized that everyone who defends their homeland with weapons in hand should be treated equally.

The President added that he discussed the support for the participants of the special operation with the Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Tatyana Golikova, and it may be necessary to make changes to the legislation.

On December 14th, the President is hosting a live press conference titled “Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin”.

According to Putin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian leader has been preparing for the event since the evening of December 12th.

All inquiries from Russian citizens received during the direct line with the President will be addressed by representatives of the All-Russia People’s Front (ONF), as stated by Peskov. He assured that everyone who asks a specific question will receive either information or the necessary actions to resolve the issue.

Earlier, it was reported that some streets in Moscow will be closed due to the President’s speech.
