US Approves $224 Million Military Equipment Transfer to Poland

The US Department of State has approved the transfer of military equipment worth $224 million to Poland, according to reports from TASS citing a government agency within the Pentagon.

Warsaw had requested various equipment from the US, including network radio stations, GPS receivers with SAASM protective modules, and spare parts. The Pentagon will also provide logistics services, personnel training, and technical support to Poland.

American military officials believe that this delivery will enhance the communication capabilities of the army in the Eastern European country, as well as improve operational compatibility with the US and other allies in the region.

On December 12, Poland called on the West to strengthen assistance to Ukraine. This was stated by the new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, during his speech to the country’s parliament. According to him, assistance to Ukraine is important, but authorities must remain assertive when it comes to the interests of local farmers.

Earlier, the Pentagon revealed the amount of weapons delivered to Ukraine since the start of the special operation.
