In a recent update, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region reported in his Telegram channel that on December 12th, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped five explosive devices on the village of Shchetinkova in the Russian region using drones.
While no casualties were reported, the attack did cause damage to the roof of a cowshed.
Additionally, in the Grayvoronsky city district on the outskirts of Spodaryushino village, Ukrainian military forces fired seven mortar shells. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident as well.
In the Shebekinsky city district, the enemy launched three mortar shells near the village of Belyanka, two near the settlement of Pervomaisky and the hamlet of Mar’ino, and one near the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka. However, no injuries or damages were reported, as confirmed by Governor Gladkov.
Yesterday, Governor Gladkov had also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had carried out more than 20 attacks on the Belgorod region within 24 hours. The village of Grafovka in the Krasnoyaryzhsky district was targeted twice.
Previously, President Vladimir Zelensky had mentioned the obstacles preventing Ukraine from moving its military operations onto Russian territory.
