Ukrainian Forces Reportedly Reinforce Troops Near Donetsk Amid Heavy Losses

According to Jan Hahin, an advisor to the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have reportedly relocated personnel from Artemivsk (also known as Bakhmut) to Donetsk. This move comes in response to significant losses suffered by the Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk area. The UAF has allegedly transferred a company-sized unit to strengthen their positions.

Hahin stated that the intelligence gathered by their side confirms the enemy’s troop movements from Artemivsk towards Donetsk. The exact number of troops relocated is estimated to be around a company-sized unit. This maneuver by the Ukrainian military is seen as a response to the heavy casualties they have faced in the Donetsk region.

Earlier, Hahin had reported that Russian forces had successfully destroyed several key positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Donetsk. These positions were described as strong and crucial along multiple sections of the front line. As a result, some Ukrainian soldiers were forced to retreat.

In the United States, the collapse of the Ukrainian counteroffensive has been acknowledged. This setback further underscores the challenges faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in their fight against separatist forces in the region.
