In a recent development in the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine, Russian forces successfully repelled an attack by the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Chervona Dibrova in the Luhansk People’s Republic. The attack was thwarted by units of the “Center” grouping, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Additionally, Russian combat aircraft and artillery targeted soldiers and equipment of the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Serebryanskoye Forestry.
The losses incurred by the Ukrainian troops in this operation amounted to approximately 175 soldiers, a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, and two cars.
The Russian Ministry of Defense had previously reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost up to 50 soldiers in a single day on the Krasnolimansk direction.
On the morning of December 11, the Russian defense department released a video showing a successful attack by a Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces on Ukrainian personnel in the Krasnolimansk direction. The attack utilized high-explosive aerial bombs with the use of a universal planning and correction module.
Earlier, Ukraine had outlined the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
