Luhansk, December 11 – The self-propelled artillery units of the “Zapad” task force have successfully destroyed Ukrainian fortified positions and mortar teams on the Kupyansk front, according to the Ministry of Defense. Representatives of the ministry stated that the artillery division of the task force effectively eliminated camouflaged Ukrainian positions and mortar teams using the “Msta-S” self-propelled artillery units. The ministry also clarified that the task force is continuously pressuring the enemy on this front, with artillery support around the clock.
During the execution of combat missions, the 152-millimeter self-propelled howitzers “Msta-S” are employing high-explosive, fragmentation-explosive, and precision ammunition, enabling maximum damage to enemy fortifications, fortified concrete structures, armored vehicles, and personnel, explained the ministry’s spokespersons.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Defense reported the repulsion of three attacks by assault groups from the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kupyansk front. The enemy’s losses amounted to approximately 30 servicemen and four units of military equipment.
