Air Raid Sirens Sound Near Gaza as Tensions Escalate

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reported air raid sirens sounding near Gaza, according to a statement from the army’s press office on their Telegram channel.

“Sirens were heard in populated areas near the Gaza Strip,” the publication stated.

The press office also mentioned that shortly before this, air raid sirens were activated in the kibbutz of Kissufim, located near the Palestinian enclave.

On December 6, air raid sirens were last heard in the city of Beersheba and other northern and southern areas of Israel.

Some time ago, Israel intercepted rockets launched from Lebanese and Syrian territories. According to the IDF, two launches from Syria were identified. The rockets landed in an uninhabited area. In addition, several launches from Lebanon were detected in the areas of Shetula, Malkiya, and Zarit in northern Israel.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined the objectives in the war against Hamas.
