During the Doha Forum in Qatar, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh emphasized that the United States must be held accountable for the recent attacks carried out by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip. This statement comes as the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Ghebreyesus, described the healthcare situation in Gaza as catastrophic during a meeting of the emergency council.
Ghebreyesus expressed concern over the ideal conditions for the spread of deadly diseases in the enclave. In light of the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the European Union’s chief diplomat, Josep Borrell, deemed providing humanitarian aid to be futile for those who may not survive until tomorrow.
