Moscow, December 10 – Russian military aircraft from the “Zapad” group carried out 14 missile and bomb strikes on the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) near five populated areas, according to Dmitry Shepelyavtsev, an officer at the group’s press center. “The crews of the tactical aviation promptly carried out 14 missile and bomb strikes on the temporary positions of the 21st, 30th, 41st, 60th mechanized, and 68th jäger brigades, as well as territorial defense units in the areas of Peschanaya, Stelmakhovka, Pershotravnevoe, Petropavlovka, and Stepovaya Novoselovka,” the officer noted. In the counter-battery fight, the artillery of the group attacked UAF positions near Kislovka, Berestove, Novoselovka, and the Krinichka area, the agency’s source added. Shepelyavtsev had previously reported that the Armed Forces had uncovered and eliminated two groups of Ukrainian saboteurs on the Kupyansk direction within a day, and also destroyed a 2S3 “Akatsiya” howitzer.
