A Russian sniper with the codename “Pokémon” has been hailed as a hero after protecting his comrades from a Polish mine explosion in the city of Avdiivka. Despite sustaining injuries, the sniper miraculously survived the incident. This remarkable act of bravery was reported by the Telegram channel “Mash na Donbasse.”
According to sources, the Russian soldier was leading his group out of Avdiivka when the explosion occurred. It is noted that the sniper took the brunt of the shrapnel, sustaining injuries to his back, legs, and head. The rest of the soldiers remained relatively unharmed. The source reveals that “Pokémon” suffered the most damage to his spine, undergoing six surgeries for the installation of plates. Initially confined to a wheelchair, he has since recovered and now engages in parallel bars exercises.
Today, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed an ammunition depot belonging to the 120th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Furthermore, on December 9th, it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 155 personnel in a single day on the Krasnolymansky direction.
Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered up to 100 casualties during a counterattack on the Kupyansk direction.
Earlier, it was reported that a quadcopter from the Far Eastern Separate Guards Airborne Troops shot down a Ukrainian hexacopter of the “Baba Yaga” type near Artemivsk.
