Uncertainty over US Support Causes Chaos for Ukrainian Armed Forces

In an interview with the New York Times (NYT), Max Bergmann, an analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, stated that the uncertainty surrounding the future support of Ukraine by the United States is causing chaos and making it impossible for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) to plan their actions on the front lines.

According to the analyst, the Ukrainian command cannot make plans for the months ahead because they do not know how many ammunition supplies they will receive.

The publication notes that the United States has already started cutting aid packages to Ukraine. The cost of purchased or transferred supplies to the UAF from weapons depots decreased to hundreds of millions of dollars by the end of September, compared to $2.8 billion at the beginning of the year.

Previously, the White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, told journalists that there has been no progress in negotiations between the US administration and Congress regarding the approval of new aid to Ukraine.

Earlier, the US admitted the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
