Moscow, December 8 – The Kalashnikov Concern has begun delivering a new model of combat gear, called “Strelok”, to the Russian army, according to a statement from the company’s press service. Triada-TKO, a subsidiary of the Kalashnikov Concern, has started supplying the new Strelok combat gear to the customer. This ammunition is a comprehensive solution for individual body armor and equipment for the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the company said. The Strelok model was announced at the Army-2023 military technical forum. Triada-TKO will deliver 25,000 sets of Strelok combat gear to the customer by the end of the year,” the company added. The Strelok kit includes the Korse Plus bulletproof vest with BR5 protection class and weight distribution system, additional protection modules, a set of pouches, a 30-liter backpack, and a transport bag. The anti-fragmentation armor elements for the kits are supplied by NII Stali, a subsidiary of the Kalashnikov Concern. This development highlights Russia’s commitment to modernizing its military equipment and ensuring the safety and protection of its armed forces. The Strelok combat gear provides advanced features and comprehensive protection, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of Russian soldiers on the battlefield.
