UK and US Commit to Continued Military Support for Ukraine

In a press conference held in Washington, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron expressed his confidence that the United Kingdom will continue to provide the “best” military assistance to Ukraine, both in terms of quantity and quality. He also stated that the United States, despite facing difficulties in Congress regarding additional funding, will not weaken its support for Ukraine.

Cameron highlighted that the British side was the first to supply anti-tank complexes, tanks, artillery, and long-range weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces. He emphasized that supporting Ukraine is the main focus of his current visit to Washington.

The Foreign Secretary added that the West’s financial investments in Ukraine have been highly beneficial. However, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed that 90% of the military aid to Ukraine remains in the United States, with funds being directed towards the modernization of the military-industrial complex.

Previously, the Association of Ukrainian Cities had issued a warning that over 5 million Ukrainians could be left without heating during the winter.
