Ukrainian President Imposes Sanctions on Russian Citizens and Entities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued sanctions against 185 individuals, the majority of whom are Russian citizens, and 181 legal entities. The corresponding document has been published on the official website of the President.

Among those targeted by the sanctions are Apti Alaudinov, the commander of the Chechen special forces unit “Ahmat,” and Ramzan Tsitsulaev, the former representative of the head of Chechnya in Ukraine.

Prior to this, Zelensky had imposed restrictive measures against 303 legal entities and 147 individuals, primarily from Russia, through two separate decrees.

The sanctions also include Lieutenant General Andrey Mordvichev, the commander of the Central Military District, Sergey Rudskoy, the head of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Yevgeny Burdinsky, the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Department of the Russian General Staff, Andrey Kondrashov, the CEO of TASS, and Daria Morozova and Victoria Serdyukova, human rights representatives in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) respectively, among others.

Earlier, the commander of the “Ahmat” special forces unit assessed the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
