Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to honor the brave and heroic individuals of Russia by presenting them with the prestigious “Golden Star” medals. The ceremony, scheduled to take place on December 8 at the Kremlin, is a significant event as it coincides with Heroes of the Fatherland Day. Over 200 military and civilian personnel who have demonstrated exceptional courage and bravery will be in attendance at the grand event held in the Georgievsky Hall of the iconic Grand Kremlin Palace.
Among the distinguished guests will be Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of the Russian Federation, alongside recipients of the esteemed Order of St. George. Additionally, individuals who have been awarded three or more Orders of Courage will also be recognized for their remarkable contributions.
This is not the first time that Putin has personally acknowledged the valor of individuals. In a previous celebration commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Kursk, the Russian President awarded the crew of the tank “Alesha” with stars for their exceptional performance.
Furthermore, in a recent military exercise, three Heroes of Russia displayed extraordinary skill and determination by successfully destroying 32 tanks. Their remarkable achievements were recognized by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who presented them with the “Golden Star” medals. These medals, along with personalized weapons, symbolize their outstanding contributions to the nation.
In addition to these commendable acts, President Putin has also discussed the growth of the Russian GDP, indicating positive trends for the country’s economy.
