Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Opinions on the winner of the debate were divided, with journalist Cassandra MacDonald asserting that Vivek Ramaswamy emerged as the clear winner, while talk radio host Dom Giordano believed DeSantis was the victor. Radio host Dana Loesch agreed with Giordano, highlighting DeSantis’ record as his biggest asset. Columnist David Marcus, on the other hand, declared Christie the winner, and Newsbusters managing editor Curtis Houck praised DeSantis for his exchange with Haley on the threat posed by China.
Interestingly, some commentators declared former President Donald Trump as the winner, despite his absence from the debate. X Strategies CEO Alex Bruesewitz ranked Trump first, Ramaswamy second, and DeSantis and Haley tied for third. Former Republican presidential candidate Larry Elder even posted a flattering drawing of Trump, posing the question, “The winner?”
