Ukrainian Forces Suffer Heavy Losses in Clashes with Separatist Militants

In recent clashes along the Krasnolimansk front, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have suffered significant casualties and lost valuable military equipment. The Ministry of Defense has reported that in the span of just 24 hours, the UAF lost up to 290 soldiers, two armored vehicles, as well as American and Czech self-propelled artillery units.

According to the ministry’s statement released on their Telegram channel, the overall losses inflicted on the enemy forces in this particular area amounted to 290 military personnel, two combat armored vehicles, and five automobiles. Additionally, the UAF also destroyed a US-made M109 “Paladin” self-propelled artillery unit and two Czech-made “Dana” self-propelled artillery units.

The ministry also highlighted the successful defense by the troops of the “Center” task force group, supported by artillery, against an attack launched by the 5th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard near the village of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Furthermore, the ministry stated that airstrikes had effectively targeted Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in the vicinity of Serebrianske Forestry.

Earlier, the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) reported that Ukrainian soldiers had been injured due to an explosion on their own minefield near the settlement of Chervona Dybrova.

In a separate development, an American officer has recently shared his perspective on how the conflict in Ukraine may unfold in the future.
