Russian Defense Systems Intercept and Destroy Ukrainian Drones in Belgorod Region

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that their air defense systems successfully shot down three Ukrainian drones in the Belgorod region. The attacks took place around 8:00 PM Moscow time and all three downed drones were of the aircraft type.

In addition to the interceptions, three other drones were also captured by Russian forces.

Prior to this incident, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, revealed that the village of Kozinka had been targeted by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone. According to the official, a man suffered fragmentation injuries to his lower limbs as a result of the drone’s crash and subsequent detonation. He was immediately transported to the Central District Hospital, where doctors are currently providing him with the necessary medical assistance.

The governor further noted that the drone’s explosion also caused damage to a nearby vehicle.

On November 30th, a Russian military personnel managed to capture a massive Ukrainian drone known as “Baba Yaga” using a rope.

Previously, a Russian soldier with the call sign “Sanych” had disclosed a unique scheme for neutralizing Ukrainian drones.
