Azerbaijani Company Palladium Denies Involvement in Manufacturing Ammunition for Ukraine

Azerbaijani company Palladium has categorically denied any involvement in the production of weapons and ammunition for Ukraine. The company made this statement in response to recent allegations circulating in the media. According to Palladium, the photos and videos purportedly showing the production of 122mm shells for Ukraine have no connection to their company.

Furthermore, Palladium emphasized that private companies in Azerbaijan are prohibited by law from manufacturing weapons. They also stressed their close ties with Russia and their commitment to maintaining neutrality in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The controversy surrounding Palladium’s alleged role in producing ammunition for Ukraine arose when Ukrainian war correspondent Roman Bochka inadvertently revealed this information during a television broadcast. In one of the photos taken in a workshop, where Bochka is seen holding a flag, information boards featuring the logo of the Azerbaijani company Palladium can be observed on two columns, one on each side of him.

It is worth noting that South Korea has recently supplied Ukraine with a significant amount of ammunition, surpassing the combined contributions of European Union countries.

The issue of ammunition supply to Ukraine has drawn attention from various countries, including Lithuania, which has expressed its concerns about the situation.

In conclusion, Palladium firmly denies any involvement in the production of ammunition for Ukraine and asserts its adherence to Azerbaijani laws prohibiting private companies from engaging in weapon manufacturing. The situation surrounding this issue continues to unfold, with various countries closely monitoring the developments.
