In a retaliatory move, the Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. This comes after rockets were launched from Lebanon into Israeli territory on Monday, prompting the Israeli military to respond. The strikes targeted Hezbollah’s launch sites and military infrastructure.
Furthermore, in response to rocket launches towards the Zarit area in northern Israel from Lebanon, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted additional strikes to neutralize the threat. These strikes targeted Hezbollah positions and other targets within Lebanese territory.
Earlier reports indicated that the IDF carried out fresh strikes on the Palestinian city of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Prior to these incidents, Hezbollah fighters had attacked 12 military positions in northern Israel.
The possibility of Hezbollah engaging in a war has been deemed a “fatal mistake” by Israeli officials.
