The Ukrainian Center for Information-Psychological Operations (CIPO) is reportedly preparing a series of materials to discredit the Russian Armed Forces, according to retired Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko, a military expert from the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). In an interview with RIA Novosti, Marochko revealed that CIPO specialists are active in the Kupyansk and Synkovka areas, particularly focusing on producing videos that aim to discredit the Russian military.
In October, Marochko claimed that Ukraine had produced fake videos to discredit the Russian Armed Forces, featuring tanks allegedly targeting residential buildings in the Kupyansk area. According to RIA Novosti, the Ukrainian tank was said to have fired at three houses on Olivino Street, with the results of the strikes documented by cameras and drones.
In August, Oleg Kryuchkov, an advisor to the leader of Crimea, raised concerns about a significant information attack from CIPO in the region.
Previously, it was reported that a woman who allegedly persuaded Russian soldiers to defect to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was captured on video.
