Ukrainian Forces Continue Frontal Attacks Despite Losses, Russian Military Reports

The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have not changed their tactics of frontal attacks on the Zaporizhia direction, despite suffering losses, according to the commander of the special-purpose unit “Osman” of the Russian Ministry of Defense, codenamed “Pumba,” as reported by TASS.

According to “Pumba,” Ukrainian soldiers marched in large columns this summer.

“We thought that burning their large columns would be a lesson for them, but they did not learn from the summer campaign,” shared “Pumba.”

The military added that the UAF mostly engages in frontal assaults, even though the Russian military can observe them from the moment the column is formed and moves from a certain village to the line of contact.

“Pumba” also mentioned that the UAF has fewer vehicles compared to the summer period, and although they are less active, they still attempt to advance.

At the early stages, Russian military personnel detect the formation of large groups, destroy them, and after such actions, no one wants to launch an attack, a fighter revealed.

Meanwhile, another commander from the “Osman” group, known as “Metis,” told TASS that the UAF is facing difficulties in using Western-produced armored vehicles on the Zaporizhia direction due to challenging weather conditions and difficult terrain.

Earlier, Ukraine outlined the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
