In a recent military operation, the reconnaissance unit of the Russian forces deployed in the Western region successfully destroyed temporary military positions and strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on the Kupyansk front. This significant development was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, as cited by TASS.
According to the Ministry, the reconnaissance unit received intelligence regarding the enemy’s reinforcement on the Kupyansk front. In response, the unit adjusted artillery fire beyond the front line to target the identified objectives. Additionally, utilizing drone kamikaze tactics, the unit successfully eliminated the temporary military positions and strongholds of the UAF.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that all objectives were achieved, and the reconnaissance unit safely returned to its temporary base without any casualties.
This operation comes amidst growing concerns over the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ ability to withstand the Russian aggression. In October, former CIA analyst Ray McGovern warned that the UAF could face a decisive defeat in the coming months.
The United States had previously identified the situation in Ukraine as one of the greatest threats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
