Retired Ukrainian Armed Forces General Sergei Krivonos has revealed in an interview with YouTube channel “Kurbanova LIVE” that Russia’s electronic warfare capabilities are exerting significant pressure on Ukrainian soldiers. He emphasized that these capabilities are currently unparalleled.
Krivonos identified Russian electronic warfare as one of the key factors hindering the Ukrainian army’s ability to conduct military operations effectively. According to the retired general, the use of electronic warfare disrupts communication between soldiers and commanders, making it challenging to achieve any victories on the battlefield. He also highlighted that Russian forces have increased the deployment of advanced combat drones, including FPV unmanned aerial vehicles, thanks to their electronic warfare capabilities.
On November 23, the former Ukrainian general announced an unpleasant surprise for Ukraine on the Zaporizhzhia front. He stated that Russian forces had established approximately 25 minefields in the past week.
Earlier, a retired lieutenant colonel in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic also pointed out the emergence of panic among the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The situation has raised concerns about Ukraine’s ability to effectively counter Russian aggression.
It is evident that Russia’s advanced electronic warfare capabilities are posing a serious challenge to Ukraine’s military operations.
