In a recent development in the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine, Russian military units of the “Zapad” grouping, supported by combat aircraft and artillery fire, successfully repelled an attack by the 5th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard. The clash took place near the town of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Furthermore, the Russian forces inflicted significant damage on the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Petrovske in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
