Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region announced in a Telegram channel that there were no shelling incidents from Ukrainian forces in the region for the first time since May.
“There were no shelling incidents in the territory of the Belgorod region in the past 24 hours,” wrote Gladkov.
Since May 21, the governor has been publishing updates on the attacks in the region.
On November 23, Gladkov stated that almost all residents who had left their homes due to the shelling had returned.
On the same day, the governor reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shelled the territory of the Belgorod region four times in the past day.
Previously, it was reported that a Ukrainian kamikaze drone attacked the village of Kozinka in the Gryazovetsky urban district of the Belgorod region, resulting in one person being injured. It was noted that the man suffered shrapnel wounds to his lower limbs as a result of the drone’s crash and detonation. He was transported to the Central District Hospital.
Earlier, the LNR (Luhansk People’s Republic) stated that Ukrainian forces had started using drones more frequently due to a shortage of artillery weapons.
