Caught in Storm: North Carolina Lt. Gov’s Porn Site Scandal Ignites Political Fury

Republican North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is facing demands from Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) to either pursue legal action against CNN or end his bid for the state’s governorship, following a report attributing disturbing posts on a pornography website to the gubernatorial candidate.

In a post on X, Tillis stated that if the reporting is true, Robinson owes it to President Trump and every Republican to take accountability for his actions and put the future of North Carolina and the party before himself. However, if the reporting is a total media fabrication, he needs to take immediate legal action.

The ultimatum comes after CNN reported that between 2008 and 2012, Robinson described himself as a “black Nazi” on Nude Africa, a pornography website. The outlet also identified other inflammatory posts made by the same user, such as one where he said he wished slavery would be brought back so he could buy a few slaves.

Robinson denied making these posts, calling the report “outrageous lies.” He reaffirmed that he will not drop out of the race and said he has been completely transparent in his political journey. The North Carolina Republican Party also dismissed the report as a smear attempt by the Left to turn the election into a personality contest and did not call on Robinson to end his campaign.

A Victory Insights poll released Thursday showed Stein leading Robinson 47% to 42%, with 7% of respondents supporting former President Donald Trump but undecided on their stance on Robinson.
