Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs spent the night at Brooklyn’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) after being ordered held without bail on sex-trafficking and racketeering charges. Combs, 54, is expected to appeal the decision in a Manhattan federal court hearing later today. The jail has been under scrutiny for vicious inmate attacks and poor living conditions such as maggot-infested food and filthy cells. The same facility housed R. Kelly during his sex-trafficking trial and Ghislaine Maxwell, who compared its conditions to those experienced by Hannibal Lecter in the 1991 film “The Silence of the Lambs.” Last year, it was reported that staff allegedly covered up a knife attack on an inmate. The MDC currently holds around 1,700 inmates and has also housed Fetty Wap and former President Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen.
