Trump Jr.: Public Schools – An Insanity

In Holland, Ohio, Donald Trump Jr. delivered a passionate speech to a crowd of approximately 150 people on Wednesday night. The event took place shortly before his father faced off against Vice President Kamala Harris in their first debate in Philadelphia. During his 30-minute address, Trump Jr. targeted the Democratic opponent, focusing primarily on education.

The number-one thing you, me or anyone can do for their kids right now is to get them out of public school,” Trump declared, receiving thunderous applause from the audience. He continued by expressing his concerns over the current state of the American educational system, emphasizing that children are being taught about “17 secret genders” rather than learning proper mathematics.

It’s insane. They don’t know math, but they know all 17 secret genders. It’s indoctrination. And if she wins, it’ll get worse. It’s going to be the legal, sanctioned kidnapping of our children.

One school board member from a neighboring Ohio town who attended the rally agreed with Trump Jr.’s assessment of the situation. The woman, who asked not to be identified, stated that “the problem really is the policies.” She argued that schools should focus on teaching fundamental subjects rather than sexuality and that the current educational culture is confusing children while keeping good teachers out of the classroom.

The event took place as Donald Trump Jr. stumped for Bernie Moreno, a businessman running against longtime Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown in an Ohio Senate race that could have significant implications for the balance of power on Capitol Hill. Trump Jr. emphasized the importance of not only voting for the presidency but also for other positions further down the ballot to ensure a favorable outcome for their preferred candidates.

I don’t want the White House unless we have the House and the Senate too,” Trump said. We’ve been there before. That’s why we need to vote the entire ballot. We need to vote all the way down to the dog catcher.

Moreno wholeheartedly agreed with Trump Jr.’s sentiment, urging the attendees of the rally to vote early and emphasizing that “it does not have to be this way.” He went on to say, “We’re gonna take our country back. And it starts right now.

The Ohio Senate race is currently very close, with Sherrod Brown leading Bernie Moreno by only 2 points in the latest The Hill/Emerson poll. This close contest highlights the importance of each vote and underscores the significance of rallying supporters to ensure a favorable outcome for their preferred candidate.
