A tragic incident occurred in a lower Manhattan condo building on Monday night when a 57-year-old woman was fatally shot inside the eighth-floor hallway of the Two Bridges building located at 44 Market St. just after 11 p.m., according to police reports. The woman’s identity has been withheld by the NYPD as authorities work on notifying her family members.
The fatal shooting took place in a well-known 12-story residential building, which features 16 condo units with balconies and views of the iconic Manhattan Bridge. Alongside residential spaces, the building houses a preschool and commercial space on its ground level.
