Walz Avoids Blame on Hamas, Pushes Two-State Solution for Gaza War

Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz did not mention the name of Hamas nor place direct blame on the terror group for the October 7th massacre when asked how he and Kamala Harris would handle the war in the Gaza Strip. Speaking to Michigan National Public Radio affiliate WCMU, Walz briefly mentioned the “horrific” terror attack without specifying its perpetrator. He stated that Israel has the right to defend itself, but also emphasized the importance of ensuring that the Palestinian people have the same right to life and liberty. Walz urged for a two-state solution and criticized the Netanyahu government for not moving in this direction. Critics accuse Walz and Harris of casting moral equivalence between the Israeli military and Hamas, while pro-Israel voices have condemned Walz’s comments.
