Despite not being physically present, Trump received a warm reception from the audience as he criticized Kamala Harris, accusing her of aligning with forces that aim to destroy Western Civilization and Israel. He emphasized that his administration is dedicated to ensuring safety for both America and Israel.
In his speech, Trump denounced Hamas terrorists responsible for killing six Jewish hostages, including Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin. The former president criticized the Democrats for aligning themselves with those who sympathize with such evil acts. He also highlighted his successful foreign policy record during his time in office, stating that when he left, America and Israel were safe, Jewish people felt secure, and radical Islamic terrorists were kept out of the country.
The Republican Jewish Coalition has been a strong supporter of Trump in recent years, and this gathering was no exception. Attendees waved placards with “Trump” in both Hebrew and English, while some held cards reading “Kamala … Oy Vey!” – a Yiddish expression conveying dismay or grief. The RJC has allocated $15 million towards efforts to reach Jewish voters in swing states such as Nevada, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.
Harvard University grad student Shabbos Kestenbaum shared his intention to vote for Trump, citing the anti-Jewish positions held by President Biden and Vice President Harris.
