Six Injured in Labor Day Lounge Shooting; Police Search for Clues

A Labor Day shooting at a Tennessee lounge bar left six people injured, according to local police. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Monday at SkyBar & Lounge located at 825 Hamilton Crossings in Antioch, Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) reported.

Officers believe that the shooting took place in the parking lot of the establishment. One person was immediately transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance while five others arrived at various area hospitals in their private vehicles, as stated by the MNPD. Thankfully, police have confirmed that all victims are expected to survive this harrowing experience.

Despite the severity of the situation, there has been no information released about the suspect involved in the shooting. However, law enforcement officials report having surveillance cameras in the vicinity and are currently reviewing the video footage from these devices. According to local news station WSMV, police hope that this captured evidence will help identify and locate the person responsible for the violence.

As the investigation continues, authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect to come forward and assist in bringing justice to those affected by this senseless act of violence during what was meant to be a day of celebration for many Americans.
