Trump criticized school boards that he believes are running “like dictatorships,” citing examples of parents getting arrested during school meetings due to disagreements over transgender rights and school curriculums. He emphasized the importance of giving parents rights, stating, “I’m for parental rights all the way.
The former president also highlighted his opposition to the current administration’s stance on parental rights in education. He claimed that the Harris-Biden administration has been unsupportive and accused them of treating concerned parents as domestic terrorists. Trump vowed to change this policy if re-elected, pledging to give the “rights back to the parents.
During his speech, Trump also signaled his willingness to support rules restricting transgender females from participating in women’s sports and limiting gender-changing medical procedures. He argued that these measures are based on “common sense” and should be implemented to protect the rights of parents and their children.
