The estranged transgender child of Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reportedly been “killed by the woke mind virus,” according to the billionaire, who claims he was tricked into giving his consent for puberty blockers. In an interview with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson, Musk expressed his anger and determination to destroy the culture that promotes such procedures for children. The SpaceX founder is now making it his mission to stamp out gender-reassignment surgeries for minors in response to the events surrounding his 20-year-old child, Vivian Jenna Wilson (previously known as Xavier), who underwent the procedure last year.
Musk described the process of obtaining consent for puberty blockers as “incredibly evil” and said it was never explained to him that they were “actually just sterilization drugs.” The CEO claims he was tricked into signing documents for one of his older children, who subsequently transitioned. Peterson suggested that the claim about potential suicide if the child didn’t receive the treatment was a lie from the outset, as there is no clinical evidence to support it.
Vivian Wilson is one of six children shared between Musk and his ex-wife Justine Wilson. In 2022, she petitioned a California court to change her name and gender, also requesting to take her mother’s last name in an effort to distance herself from her famous father. This legal action has fueled Musk’s determination to fight against the “woke mind virus” that he believes is causing harm to children and families.
Musk’s commitment to this cause comes shortly after it was announced that his SpaceX and Tesla headquarters would be relocating from California to Texas, due in part to a law signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom banning schools from requiring parents to be notified if their child begins using different pronouns. The billionaire CEO expressed his frustration with this law and other similar measures that he feels are attacking both families and companies, ultimately forcing them to leave the state in order to protect their children.
