Former President Trump & Sen. JD Vance: Facing New Assassination Threats, Swift Arrest Made

In recent developments, former President Donald Trump and his vice-presidential nominee, Ohio Republican Sen. JD Vance, were the targets of an assassination threat shortly after a previous attempt was made on the life of the former president. The arrest was announced by the Jupiter Police Department in Florida. 68-year-old Michael M. Wiseman was taken into custody for allegedly writing threats of harm to Trump and Vance on his Facebook account, as well as directing these threats towards members of their families.

Multiple community members reported the threats, which included those of physical harm, to the police department. The investigation was carried out in collaboration with the United States Secret Service and the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. The arrest occurred without any incident or disturbance.

This news comes after Trump revealed details about a recent assassination attempt on his life during his speech at the Republican National Convention. He recounted how he turned his head at the last second, which saved him from a bullet that grazed his right ear in Butler, Pa. While describing this incident, Trump expressed gratitude for the quick response of his Secret Service agents who rushed to the stage and protected him during the attack. He also acknowledged the role God played in ensuring his safety during such a dangerous situation.
