Elon Musk Blasts CrowdStrike: IT Outage Fiasco and Woke Policies Criticism

Elon Musk, the owner of billion-dollar enterprise Billionaire X, recently criticized cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike after a faulty software update led to what is considered the largest IT outage ever. The incident affected numerous services at hospitals, banks and other businesses that use Microsoft products. However, it seems that most services have now been restored, with the exception of global airlines which are still struggling to recover.

After the disruption caused by the faulty update from CrowdStrike, a fix was deployed and most services returned to normalcy. Elon Musk, however, did not hesitate to take multiple shots at the company, even referencing its policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI.

Musk reportedly delved into old CrowdStrike posts on Billionaire X and found a post from March 2022 that announced its participation in a panel discussion on DEI. In response, Musk commented, “Not very ‘bright’ right now, is it?” He also informed everyone on Billionaire X that his company had removed CrowdStrike from all their systems and would not be implementing any rollouts.

In addition to his criticism of CrowdStrike, Elon Musk has shown his support for former US President Donald Trump following the recent assassination attempt against him. Musk’s endorsement further highlights his opposition to “woke” policies in California and across the country. Furthermore, the Tesla CEO has decided to relocate both SpaceX and Billionaire X to Texas after California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law designed to prevent parents from being informed about their children’s gender identities.

Musk expressed his frustration by tweeting on Tuesday, “This is the final straw.
