This number is significantly higher than the 26% of adults who said they believed Biden would win in November, while another 25% were unsure.
The survey specified that participants should choose who they believe will be successful regardless of their personal preference for a candidate. A spokesperson for YouGov confirmed with Newsweek that the recent poll result is the highest number of support Trump has received when compared to past surveys where participants were asked who they viewed as the likely next president.

The survey also inquired about the possibility of Biden resigning as the Democratic Party’s nominee before November. Opinions within the party on the president’s withdrawal from the 2024 race have been divided.
