She also highlighted Trump’s memory lapses, mentioning how he had claimed to run against former President Barack Obama in the 2016 election when he actually ran against Hillary Clinton. Tarlov noted Trump’s confusion regarding historical events as well, citing his statement that Joe Biden would lead the United States into World War II, which was already fought and won decades prior. She also pointed out how Trump confused Jeb Bush with George W. Bush, incorrectly attributing involvement in the Middle East to Jeb.
Tarlov further criticized Trump’s online presence on his Truth Social platform, referring to what she described as his “authoritarian posts.” In these posts, she explained that Trump had suggested that outgoing Joint Chiefs chairman and Army Gen. Mark Milley could be guilty of treason for consulting with the Chinese during the chaotic post-2020 election period. Tarlov also pointed to Trump’s threat to investigate Comcast, the parent company of NBCUniversal, NBC News, and MSNBC, if he were to win back the presidency in a future election.
