The US House committee report alleges that the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and its Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) sought to censor content from conservative media outlets, including Fox News, as well as criticize Facebook’s policy on political advertisements. The WFA also reportedly threatened to go public with their concerns if they were unable to negotiate with companies like Spotify and Facebook.
