Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Shares Criticism Over First Lady’s Support For Struggling President

In recent times, First Lady Jill Biden has found herself amidst criticism for apparently encouraging President Joe Biden to continue in the election despite his disastrous debate performance. Among those expressing their disapproval is Bill Stevenson, Jill’s ex-husband from her previous marriage that lasted from 1970 to 1975.

Stevenson, a Trump supporter and vocal critic of what he calls the “Biden crime family”, spoke candidly to The Post about his former wife. The Dr. Jill Biden who I’ve seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way,” Stevenson stated, adding that she has undergone a dramatic transformation into a “completely different woman.

Despite his bitterness over the years, Stevenson revealed that he had initially supported Joe Biden when he ran as Vice-President with Barack Obama and later for the US Senate in 1972. However, in 2020, after Biden was named the Democratic presidential nominee, Stevenson alleged that Jill’s relationship with then-junior senator began as an affair. He further shared his personal experiences with Joe Biden, revealing the president’s apparent dishonesty and his impression of him having lost a step mentally in recent years.

The ex-husband is currently preparing to self-publish a second book titled “The Bidens: The Early Years” next month, which will focus on their early years together but does not include any opinions about the president’s current state of mind. Nonetheless, Stevenson has made his thoughts clear, expressing surprise at Jill Biden’s prominence in the ongoing political battle and questioning her motives for supporting President Joe Biden amidst his struggles.
