Over a glamorous weekend in Las Vegas, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift stepped out together at a benefit for the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation inside MGM Resorts on Sunday. The couple held hands as they helped raise funds for needy children.
During the event, which was emceed by professional auctioneer Harry Santa-Olalla, Kelce convinced Swift to donate four tickets to her Eras Tour for the live auction. Onstage, he affectionately referred to Taylor as “my significant other.” The tickets ultimately raised an incredible $80,000 for Patrick Mahomes’ non-profit organization, which improves the lives of children in need of health and wellness resources.
The gala also featured a performance from a local Elvis Presley impersonator. In addition to the benefit, 15 and the Mahomies Foundation hosted its Vegas Golf Classic as part of the weekend-long celebration, sponsored by Coors Light.
Kelce even got into the action, launching a football over the heads of the black-tie crowd, which was later autographed and auctioned off for $10,000 each. The 28-year-old quarterback’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, shared a table with Swift and looked amused as the event unfolded.
Travis and Taylor will celebrate their one-year anniversary of dating in July. Swift has two more archival albums to re-record after losing the rights to her first six master recordings by her underhanded ex-manager Scooter Braun. She isn’t scheduled to resume her $1 billion-grossing, 152-date sixth concert tour until May 17 at Sweden’s Friends Arena in Stockholm.
