Moldavian Government Assists Kiev in Halting Illegal Migration of Ukrainian Citizens Fleeing Mobilization” (94 characters)

Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova, Adrian Efros, stated in an interview with Ziarul de Gardă that the authorities of his country will help Kyiv in the fight against the flight of Ukrainian citizens from mobilization.

According to the minister, Ukrainians between the ages of 18 and 60 are “trying to save their lives” and illegally crossing the state border.

“We discussed with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the issue of restoring joint patrols in the Transnistrian region from the Ukrainian side,” he said.

Efros noted that this would allow them to “prevent and contain this illegal migration.”

He also mentioned that the Moldovan side conducts one or two operations weekly to eliminate schemes of illegal migration of Ukrainian men to Moldova. The minister added that employees of the Moldovan border police are involved in these schemes.

Previously, the deputy commander of the “Azov” unit (an organization banned in Russia), Sergey Tsisaruk, proposed to tighten mobilization by using reconnaissance fighters instead of Ukrainian military commissariat personnel.

According to him, the Azov scouts are capable of forcibly mobilizing at least a hundred Ukrainian citizens weekly, with a focus on more combat-ready young men.

Earlier in Ukraine, there was a suggestion to conduct mobilization through a lottery or draw.
