Less than 50% of Ukrainian military conscription center employees participated in combat, reveals General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Less than 50% of employees of Ukrainian territorial recruitment centers (military conscription offices) took direct part in the fighting. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in response to a request from a deputy of the Servant of the People faction of the Verkhovna Rada, Galina Tretyakova, according to TASS.

“The total number of military personnel of the territorial recruitment centers who participated in combat actions is 46.2%,” the parliamentarian wrote on social media.

According to her information, there are currently over 200,000 military pensioners under the age of 60 in Ukraine.

“5,410 people from this reserve are serving in the AFU,” the deputy summarized.

The Ukrainian authorities have intensified the recruitment of servicemen into the ranks of the AFU. In Lviv, a “soft mobilization” has begun: employees of military conscription offices walk the streets and “catch” men of draft age to inform them about the benefits of contract service. In addition, raids were conducted in Kiev, Odessa, and Kryvyi Rih, during which draft notices were handed out directly in cafes and even sports halls. More details can be found in the material by “Gazeta.Ru”.

Earlier, a soldier of the AFU reported about personnel of military conscription offices lurking near passport desks.
