Whistleblower Claims CIA ‘Stonewalled’ IRS Interview with Hunter Biden’s Associate, Deepening Scandal

House lawmakers have recently conducted interviews with Hunter Biden’s “sugar brother” and his art dealer, prompting conservative commentator Andy McCarthy to react. McCarthy, known for his critical stance towards the Biden administration and Democrats, discussed the scandal surrounding District Attorney Fani Willis and the alleged interference of the CIA in an IRS interview with Hunter Biden’s business associate, Kevin Morris.

According to a whistleblower, the CIA prevented the IRS from interviewing Morris in August 2021, as part of the federal investigation into Hunter Biden. The whistleblower claimed that the CIA summoned two Justice Department officials to its headquarters in Langley, Virginia, for a briefing on Morris. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer expressed their intention to investigate these allegations as part of the ongoing impeachment inquiry against President Biden.

Morris, who had previously testified as part of the impeachment inquiry, revealed that he had loaned Hunter Biden approximately $6.5 million, which was more than originally estimated. The whistleblower alleged that Morris “could not be a witness in the investigation,” as stated by House Republicans. During the interview, Morris and his attorney provided an estimate of the amount loaned to Hunter Biden and later followed up with the exact figures, which included an additional $1.6 million.

The House Republicans, Jordan and Comer, mentioned that the Committees are investigating whether President Biden abused his power “to impede, obstruct, or otherwise hinder investigations or the prosecution of Hunter Biden.” They also highlighted the preferential treatment provided to Hunter Biden by the Department of Justice (DOJ), as testified by whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler. These investigators claimed that DOJ officials deviated from normal procedures, restricted their investigative steps, and informed Hunter Biden’s attorneys about these steps.

The new whistleblower claims seem to support the concerns raised by Jordan and Comer about the DOJ’s deviations from standard processes. The House Republicans now demand that the CIA provide all documents and communications related to the DOJ and IRS investigation of Hunter Biden, as well as records concerning Kevin Morris. They specifically request information about efforts to interview Morris as part of the investigation into Robert Hunter Biden.

Morris has provided multiple loans to Hunter Biden, including one for approximately $1.4 million in October 2021, which was intended to repay Mr. Biden’s tax debt to the IRS. Special Counsel David Weiss charged Hunter Biden with nine federal tax charges, including three felonies and six misdemeanors, for $1.4 million in owed taxes. Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to all charges.

In addition to the tax charges, Weiss also indicted Hunter Biden on federal gun charges in Delaware, to which he also pleaded not guilty. His attorneys are currently seeking to have the case dismissed.

Critics of the Biden administration and Democrats will likely view these recent developments as further evidence of potential wrongdoing and preferential treatment within the government. As investigations continue and more information is uncovered, the political landscape surrounding Hunter Biden’s business dealings and legal issues remains contentious.
