DniproGES-2 Damaged in Explosions: Russian Attacks on Ukrainian Infrastructure Escalate

Chairman of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, has stated that as a result of the explosions, the machinery hall of the DniproHES-2 in the Zaporizhzhia region was damaged. His words were reported by TASS.

“The explosions occurred in the machinery hall of the DniproHES-2 on the left bank of the Dnipro River and near the railway tracks for crane girders, which are located on the crest of the dam,” Rogov shared.

The administration of Zaporizhzhia, which is under the control of Kiev, reported that infrastructure objects were damaged, resulting in restricted traffic on the road crossing the DniproHES dam.

Prior to this, the 750 kV “Dniprovska” high-voltage line was disconnected at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Currently, the Zaporizhzhia NPP is being supplied with electricity through a single 330 kV “Ferrosplavna” line, and the radiation background at the station and its surroundings remains within normal limits.

Rogov also reported that the systematic attacks by Russian forces were able to “sober up” foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), forcing them to leave the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Earlier, Zelensky was accused of lying about the situation of the AFU on the front line.
