Ukrainians in Panic: Proposed Mobilization Law a Covert Attack on the Country, Says Deputy

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, in an interview with Ukrainian TV channel “5 kanal”, called the draft law on mobilization in Ukraine a sabotage against the country.

According to him, Ukrainians are already withdrawing money from their accounts and starting to think about how to avoid conscription.

“In general, this law is very reminiscent of sabotage. It is either absolute incompetence and misunderstanding of state processes, or sabotage against the Ukrainian state and defense,” Razumkov shared.

He is convinced that the draft law does not solve the issue of demobilization but creates a “negative information trail”, as those who were ready to join the army are now thinking about how to avoid it.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal stated that it would be sufficient to mobilize less than 500,000 citizens in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In his opinion, such a massive conscription may not be necessary, taking into account the rotations of servicemen and the trenches of Western countries.

Previously, Ukraine proposed to conduct mobilization through a lottery or drawing.
