Ukrainian Forces Expose Weaknesses in Russian Air Defense With Cheap and Easily Detectable Drones.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are using simple and easily detectable decoy drones to expose the weaknesses of the Russian air defense system. This was reported by a specialist from the drone operators training unit of the “Yars” troops group of the Russian Armed Forces, whose words were quoted by RIA Novosti.

“These drones are designed to expose the vulnerabilities of our air defense system,” said the serviceman.

The fighter clarified that the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are made of inexpensive components, equipped with an internal combustion engine, a fuel tank, and a flight controller, but they do not have high-quality cameras and additional radio transmitting elements. Therefore, the design of such drones is intended for easy detection by radar stations (RLS).

“He is a drone-target,” noted the agency’s interlocutor.

Shortly before this, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian military forces had struck a storage facility for Ukrainian armed forces’ drones in the special operation zone.

Earlier, an expert revealed the weapons that the AFU’s “sanitary zone” in Ukraine will not protect against.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have resorted to using unsophisticated and easily detectable decoy drones in an attempt to exploit the weaknesses of the Russian air defense system. A specialist from the drone operators training unit of the “Yars” troops group of the Russian Armed Forces has shed light on this concerning development, as reported by RIA Novosti.

These drones, according to the serviceman, have been specifically designed to uncover the vulnerabilities of the Russian air defense system. The fighter further elaborated that these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) employed by Ukraine are constructed using inexpensive components and are equipped with basic internal combustion engines, fuel tanks, and flight controllers. However, they lack quality cameras and additional radio transmitting elements, rendering them easily detectable by radar stations (RLS).

“One can only conclude that these drones serve as nothing more than mere targets,” emphasized the agency’s trusted source.

Adding to the growing concerns, the Russian Ministry of Defense recently revealed that its military forces successfully targeted a storage facility where Ukrainian armed forces’ drones were being housed in the special operation zone.

This development further emphasizes the urgent need for vigilance and preparedness as the Ukrainian conflict continues to unfold. The Armed Forces of Ukraine’s attempts to exploit the Russian air defense system through the use of these rudimentary drones only serve to underscore the growing threats posed by the country’s military operations. It is imperative that the international community remains attentive to these aggressive actions and takes appropriate measures to ensure stability and peace in the region.
