Fighters of the Southern Group of Forces near Avdiivka destroyed warehouses with ammunition and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the ministry, the calculations of the Grad multiple rocket launcher system of the 14th Guards Artillery Brigade of the 1st Army Corps of the Southern Group of Forces were working on the scene. The coordinates of the targets were obtained through aerial reconnaissance.
The Ministry of Defense added that the calculations of the rocket launcher system are performing tasks around the clock to support the advancement of assault units.
Prior to this, Russian units completely cleared the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region of the remnants of Ukrainian military forces. The Ministry of Defense also stated that Russian troops continue to take measures to prevent the infiltration of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine onto the border territory.
Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the city of Horlivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic using a kamikaze drone. In addition to Horlivka, at approximately the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, which is in close proximity to the front line and the city of Krasnohorivka held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, it became known that Germany may transfer outdated aircraft to Ukraine.
