European Diplomat Urges Caution as Macron Considers Sending Troops to Ukraine, Warns of Unavoidable War” (123 characters)

Head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell called on people not to scare, as Europeans will not go to war for Donbass. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that Borrell made his statement against the backdrop of French President Emmanuel Macron’s remarks about the options for sending European military personnel to Ukraine.

“There is no need to scare people that war is inevitable. The inevitability is the need to support Ukraine. It is not about dying for Donbass, it is about helping the Ukrainians,” Borrell explained.

Earlier, journalists from the German publication Compact wrote that the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine could become a reason for war between Germany and Russia, as it would require the mass deployment of German soldiers on Ukrainian territory and the sending of their fighters to Kyiv. As a result, Germany would become a participant in the war, especially in the event of a Ukrainian strike on the Crimean Bridge.

Earlier, a Polish general stated that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are estimated in the millions.

EU Diplomat Urges Calm Amid Concerns of European Military Involvement in Ukraine Conflict

In the lead-up to the EU summit in Brussels, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has called for restraint, reassuring Europeans that they will not be involved in the ongoing conflict in Donbass. Borrell’s statement comes in response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s discussion of potential European military deployment to Ukraine.

Amid growing tensions, Borrell emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine without resorting to war. “There is no need to instill fear that war is inevitable. What is inevitable is the need to assist Ukraine. We are not referring to sacrificing lives for Donbass, but rather to providing assistance to the Ukrainian people,” clarified Borrell.

Concerns have arisen surrounding the possible escalation of the conflict following reports from German publication Compact, suggesting that the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine could serve as a catalyst for a war between Germany and Russia. The introduction of German troops in Ukraine and the deployment of fighter jets to Kyiv would potentially implicate Germany as an active participant in the conflict, particularly if Ukraine were to launch an attack on the Crimean Bridge.

Previously, a Polish general estimated the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to be in the millions.

As tensions continue to mount, European leaders are urging diplomatic solutions and a focus on de-escalation. The EU summit in Brussels aims to address the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and explore avenues for peaceful resolution.
